Kevin,
I guess I am not 100% awake yet either (i got a new computer at home and was up until 3am setting up the computer and installing VS.NET 2003 (that takes a long frikking time if you are doing it yourself and not someone from the IT department) and then my kids decided they wanted to get up at 5am and then I had to shovel snow (we had 5-6" overnight)) LOL
Anywho I didn't really have an issue or a problem with the resx file. I just simply feelt it was not nessesary, because the form only has one control and I would probably never view the form in the designer (a picture might be worth a 1000 words, but sometimes it is easier to understand the 1000 words than the picture).
I guess what I was really asking was how do I go about creating a form by code i.e. not using designer, but I just simply created the form with the designer and cut and pasted into a class.
I am reviewing the code I downloaded from the article. Very cool stuff.

>uhm...sorry, I must be less awake this morning than I realized...what was the original problem with the resource file to begin with? (I wasn't sure if your original 2 issues were related, or separate)
