MicroSoft likes to control all button properties from Windows. David is right, you can change the color of ALL buttons by manipulating the windows configuration file using GetProfile() and WriteProfile().

I infer from your question, however, that you want to display buttons in various colours -- not all buttons in the same color.

If this is the case, you will probably have to create your own button class, since the VFP button class is not going to do that for you.

Some weeks ago there was a fairly extensive discussion here on the Thread about customized button classes -- searching for the expression "button color" ought to bring it up.
