>Hello,

>My customer is currently upgrading all of their clients to Windows NT 4.0, but still want to run a FoxPro DOS application for at least another 6 months.

>I am doing some testing and I am having terrible luck at getting anything to print from within the FoxPro/DOS environment. I have tried File/Print, the ??? method, nothing at all seems to work. I have been playing around with SET PRINTER TO, that isn't helping either. I am wondering if the printers need to be set up on the client to "Enable printer pooling". If I remember correctly, this lets you enable multiple port names on Ports pageframe. Right now it's just set to an HP JetDirect port. I am wondering if it also needs to be set to LPT1 (Local port). Unfortunately I don't have enough network permissions to modify the settings on this PC. The port settings are controlled through the print server.

make sure that the printer is set up to print from DOS
