Yeah, that was my situation at Bata/Bolivia. I was alone in charge of the programming (for the system in question), and the company didn't want to buy any software that cost more than $0.00.
So, Perforce was ideal for me. It integrates well with the VFP Project Manager. After having used VSS, it didn't turn out too difficult to use Perforce.
