Are you saying you see this exact behavior where the button will depress/undepress as you move the mouse back and forth over it (without clicking)?

I second Fred on that: it seems to me more like an error in Windows, not in VFP. Sometimes you see weird behavior with the mouse, which might go away after a while, or if you restart the OS.
