i have added this in my app, but because of the speed issue, i have made this as an option rather then an automated feature. i am thinking that windows in the printer list is actually also slow. but since they (windows) have the luxury of multy tasking, they can check all the printers at the same time which makes it seem faster.

oh well, thanks anyway.
