Hmmm, in what circumstance does intellisence not kick in ??
Intellisense does work without mdot also (at least in a number of cases):
o = CreateObject("TextBox")
The only thing I see is that typing m. will give you a list of variables, to pick from.

Absolutely. My point however, is that it has a side effect that the collision between variable and fielname becomes highly unlikely.
