the problem is that even if u SET CENTURY ON and have a four digit space for the year, and a user will key in 2 digits FP will still add 1900 automatically!!!
that means that u can't trust VFP and u should get date field via an object
what I use btw is a Date spinner and a datetime spinner (u can see one of them in last month VFUG newsletter), I have enhanced it since then but even as it is published it is nice (IMHO of course ;) )
