Thank you for confirming my statement, because I began to feel a little uncomfortable about this. Like I told James, the fact that more and more people use similar expressions, doesn't make them more right.

In my series of examples to James, I forgot to use a better example which is about quantity: If I give $20 to Tom and $200 to Peter, I give Peter 10 times more than Tom, but I don't give Tom 10 times less than Peter. In fact I give Tom 90% less than Peter, and 10 is not the same as 90%.
