Well, I've submitted it to Microsoft as a bug report.

It's unlikely to affect many people though ! We have had to change the tool tips slightly on our tool-bar launcher buttons to get around the problem. We could probably re-write it, but as always we are on a tight schedule!

Interestingly, we've found that tool-tips on a multi-monitor environment do not work properly either. If you have two screens, and the secondary screen is to the left of the primary screen, tool tips for any compiled VFP app or even the main VFP program appear on the primary screen even if the app is placed on the secondary screen. Not everyone seems to get the problem but Microsoft did recreate it.

It looks like the tool tips arn't written to cope with negative offsets, as they appear on the left most edge of the primary screen.

All VFP 9 of course !
