It will be interesting to see how President Bush measures up in this regard.
There's no official "depression" right now, of course, but with WalMart pushing all those jobs to China and with non-manufacturing now trending the same way, something akin to it cannot be that far behind.

Google sits in your neighbourhood, a glaring symbol of success in what I understand to otherwise be near-desolation. So far the focus has been on Google, but surely some time it will drift to its surrounding.
