I don't know...since no one seems to be giving NFC teams any type of chance, they really have nothing to lose.

Here would be some irony:

In the 2001 season, the Rams were a powerhouse, finishing something like 13-3 or 14-2, and were heavy favorites in the Super Bowl.

Their opposition was a New England team that had struggled the last two years...then went with a rookie QB, finished 11-5 and beat Miami, Oakland, and the Steelers in the AFC playoffs...but were tremendous underdogs in the Super Bowl.

Of course, we all remember what happened.

Fast forward 3 years - wouldn't it be hysterical if the Rams, who were 6-8 several weeks ago, made it to the Super Bowl as heavy underdogs against the same New England team????
