Ad 1) I am sure. I have done a lot of tests with differently created tables.
I suppose that it is a bug of VFP9. I have referred it to the Microsoft.

Ad 2) I am afraid about the problems with standard Windows fonts, if I use CP852 as CPCURRENT(). That is why, I have converted the files without fields with Czech characters to CP1250.I have used CPCONVERT(852,1250,memo) for the others.
