Thank you but no, I don't believe it can be a DO EVENTS issue.

Everything else in the projcect (five year old heavily used production system) appears to work as expected. This issue is really with this recent enhancement. (It's my original work and my enhancement.)

As a more general question, has anyone encountered such a distinct difference that appears when running in development vs. runtime???
