I was expecting the msxml2 to show up as I was typing the "local oXml as ms..." but it did not.

It does after the first time I type it in.

But when I use it later I am not getting DomDocument40 in my list after I type the period. I am getting DOMDocument and DomDocument26. Why is it not showing DOMDocument40?

>local oXml as msxml2.DOMDocument40 will prepare intellisense so it can expand WITH oXML, it won't instantiante MSXML. You also need the oXML=CreateObject(xxx) line.
