DNN portals are have role-based authentication - so you won't be able to see all of the content for all of these sites. (i.e. some of the content is restricted to specific user roles.) However, there is enough there to give you an idea of what can be done with DNN.

One of the great things about DNN is the ability to create "child" portals. You can have one parent and many children - all using the same SQL Server database. The other thing I really like about DNN is the "skinning" technology - very easy to change the look and feel of a site with this technology built into the portal framework.

Right now I'm working on a custom Work Orders module - used to create work orders that can be printed for customers of my client. This module integrates with a Support Desk module we purchased and will also give him the ability to have invoices generated from the work orders. The last phase will be to have XML upload files created for import into QuickBooks. I haven't had this much "fun" programming in along time - I highly recommend DNN as a portal/website platform.
