Yeah, I agree, there are always hundreds of tidbits out there that wind up being useful.

And in fact, this brought up another question about whether local variables can be scoped to a BEGIN...END block. Bonnie and Magnus found something in BOL to indicate that it can (though the test proc they created shows otherwise), and I found something in BOL that doesn't mention it. Usually everybody winds up walking away with something they previously didn't know! ;) So thanks...
