Yes, HP drivers were my first guess, too. That's why I tried the Generic/Text Only.
The problem occurs long before printing. When stepping through in the debugger, it occurs on the REPORT FORM command, before the preview window appears and even before any code in a report form's data enviroment is run.
- General fields/ActiveX etc. : No
- disable any antivirus that may be active, and test : Will try this, but it is not common to all sites.
- Custom print spoolers or other software running that may interfere?: Possible in some places, but would not be common to all sites
- any other resident processes like spyware etc.?: None on my machine, which exhibits the problem. (Can't speak for the clients's machines.<g>)
The problem is occurring at 5 client sites in addition to what I'm seeing on my machines. I'd be shocked if the workstations at any one site had the same hardware, drivers, etc. I would tend to implicate these if the problem was at one or even two sites, but it does seem to be everywhere. i
