I don't want to copy the table to a different name because I lose all the display characteristics, etc carried in the database. How can I rename a table (including the physical table name) that is contained in a database without losing the characteristics carried in the database?

Stephanie, the easiest way is to select the table in Project Manager, right click and select Rename. It will rename the physical table files (DBF, FPT, CDX) automaticaly. Make sure that the table is closed.
