Still hard at work, I see. I have the same effect that Vladimier describes. When the mouse is first moved over an object with a fancytooltip, it initially displays on the first few letters of the tip. If it is move off and then back onto the object, the entire tool tip appears. I have tried to catch it, but have not so far been able to determine where it occurs in the code.

It may be a function of the timer. The timer fires, code is processed, but before it is completely processed, the timer fires again. I am experimenting with increasing the timer interval -- now at 200 -- to see if the effect goes away.

But is may also just be a function of my particular graphics card.

In any case, it is no big deal. The tool works fine.
