I have Lotus Notes for email and am setting up automated messaging using COM

I'm using Notes 6.5 and the COM objetct is Lotus.NotesSession

All works fine until I send an email to another Notes account,
and all the body text is put onto one line.

I think I need to set the MIME type.
Can any tell me how to do this?
