>>I have heard a nasty rumor from hallogram pubs that VFP doesnt really work that well with OCX's. Does anyone have any insight on this. I was under the impression that we could use them with relative ease. :/

>Visual FoxPro 3.0b is not fully compliant with a few OCXs but in general you're able to make it work. For example, the Universal Thread is using a SMTP & POP OCXs to distribute 100000 messages a week. It also use a socket OCX for the upcoming Universal Thread for Windows '95 & NT interface. I also use ProEssential OCX which is a very good OCX for graphic, etc.

Thanks for the comfort. I thought so, but youd think that a distributor would try just a little harder to move a product before giving up on a Foxer... :/

"If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animated contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsel or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen."
~Samuel Adams
