appears stranage situation in UK
because of outsourcing contractors hourly rates fall down to 20-40 GBP.
Because of MS advertising most of present VFP developers think that they have not future as VFP developers and jump in .Net(change company)
I have clear view on Great London market where we operate.
From day to day appears more and more orders for VFP work, because lack of the programmers. But companies refuse to accept higher rates(of course time development rise a little bit :-)).
Most of the companies which use VFP for their Client-server solutions are confident in advantages of VFP. May be in next 5-10 years when they move to web-platform this will changes because .Net has advantages compared with VFP.

But my advice is - there is still a lot of VFP works.
May be you have to move to larger cities where there are more contrcting work.
and after 2-3 years you have to start learn ASP/VB.Net
