He is using XML as the conduit between C# and VFP. I'm just passing a string of primary keys to VFP that is used to create a cursor. My concern was hitting a parameter string length issue at some point. If we could pass an object like a dataset to VFP there would be no need for a huge XML string or a string of IDs.
