On my development PC, I have XP. On a form, I have put a TabControl control. On each page, I have defined the BackColor to be Window. So, this provides me the XP look. Mine is working with a white background. When I dropped some images on a page from that TabControl, they appear ok because I have captured them from a white background. However, if I run that from another PC having a different XP background setting, the image won't appear ok anymore. What is the proper approach to use in such case to assure that all images will appear ok? Is there a specific tool we need to use to convert those high resolution image ok so they would fit well on any kind of background? Just putting a transparent GIF won't work good as we need something that will be processed automatically on the background.
