Thanks for considering this change! If you want to do it "correctly" you'd have to wade through the thousands of messages that have appeared in these topics after the variuos versions of vfp were released and move them one by one to the right categories.

Otherwise, I would just freeze the general categories, which would allow people to read them, but no more posting.

When vfp10 beta becomes available, open a vfp10beta category and when vfp10 is released, then freeze the vfp10beta category. That way everyone will know that the messages there pertain to the beta and only to the beta.

If I were you, considering how busy you are with other things, I'd do just that.
