>When I instantiate a Grid and set the recordsource to a FoxPro table, my Memo field just shows the word 'Memo' in it. How can I get it to show the contents of the memo instead?

In our app, we use a command button in the grid for memo fields which brings up another dialog they can edit in. We use the dynamic control source and have two different versions -- one with a picture of an empty notepad (representing no information) and one with a picture of a notepad with lines on it (representing information). This way, the user has a visual cue as to whether any information is in the notes field before they hit the button. This way they don't have to hit the button for each record just to see if there is text in it.
