Make sure your project (PJ*) files are not read-only. Also, make sure you don't have any read-only forms or class libraries that have code that has changed since the last time they were compiled. For instance, if you're using SourceSafe and you checked out a VCX, changed some code, checked it back in without compiling it, VFP will try to compile the code when you re-build the project. Since the compiled code is stored in the VCT, it can't do it if the file is read-only.
