Yeah, I didn't know about the hostel.

For places to see:
- Central Park
- Ground Zero
- Empire State Building
- Times Square
- Broadway (even if you don't go to a show)
- Statue of Liberty
- Rockefeller Center
- Many, many great museums
- United Nations
- If you can afford it, baseball game at Yankee Stadium
