Daniel,

Collapse the data node of the project, close the project, close data all, then repoen the project and see if your operation will work.

But I'm not sure if VFP is configured to know that it needs to check in the DBC,DCT and DCX files for the database (and I can't check it at the moment). If it doesn't then you can checkin the output of GenDBC as at least one level or source control for your database.
