Unfortunately there will be change in logic.:o(((
But I see (Iaccording to Your messages) that VFP 9 optimize query with filter.
My Idea was to add a field IsDeleted N(1)
Change the index to DocNumb+STR(IsDeleted,1)
Change ALL :o(((( SELECTs to match the IndexKey (DocNumb+'0')
In delete Routine Just Replace this field with 1

But now I see there is no need to do this.
