>>Right. I thought it was something like this and checked the attributes of all the files...but forgot to check the files in the common directory, where the class libraries reside. However, this brings up a problem. How do I handle this situation using source control? Do I need to check everything out to rebuild?

>No. You can get latest version and check the "Make Writeable" option. Note that if you are using the AutoIncrement feature of the project to keep track of build #'s, you will have to check the project out, build, then check it in. Also, you will probably want to uncheck the debug info option on the project file; it will make your exe smaller.
I'm using PVCS, but will check into this. I also WANT the debugging information.
