Bill, I am new, so this is just a shot that worked for me in a similiar situation. I was trying to set focus to another page's object and couldn't get there until I did the following:

THISFORM.PageFrame1.ACTIVEPAGE = 2 &&Page you want to go to
THISFORM.PageFrame1.Page2.text1.SETFOCUS()
