no you seem to have missed my point, I want to be able to hide the fact a database is open in a different data session, i don't want to have to go through the hundreds of job prg's updating anytime they create a table. I want them to work with the create table as it is.

like I said I thought running the prgs from a new private datasession would do this but apparently not.
