This is not a little detail.. Don't do any kind of prepayment now.. Mostly for your air ticket..
After 9/11 the US government created a thought that everybody on the world are terrorist.. Until that they prove to the opposite !!
So, if you can't prove that you're not a terrorist.. The visa will not get to you :)
