We are in the process of rewriting a VFP26/DOS application in VFP. We run a Novell network with about 50 workstations. I am experiencing an odd problem on 1 of the w/s. In both the VFP and FPD applications it has started taking a VERY long time to open tables. What takes a couple of seconds on all other w/s is taking several minutes on this one particular computer. The FILES= and BUFFERS= have both been REMed out of the CONFIG.sys file, as they are on all the other W98 w/s. There is no CONFIG.NT file like on our XP and W2K w/s.

I'm thinking that a file has been erased by an adware or anitvirus program.

If anyone has any suggestions I'd really appreciate it. Its odd that the Foxpro apps (VFP and FPD) are the only apps running slowly.
