SET PRINTER TO NAME "thelaserprintername" or SET PRINTER TO NAME (thelaserprintername)
>A customer bought a new Laser printer that uses a USB connection. When I issue the statement
>SET PRINTER TO NAME thelaserprintername
>they get an error saying CAN NOT ACCESS PRINTER SPOOLER.
>Non-VFP programs print ok, and if I use a program called RAWPRINT from the command line (such as !rawprint filename thelaserprintername) it also works fine.
>Also, on my new laptop with Windows XP, the SET PRINTER TO command works on my USB parallel printer.
>Any suggestions?
