I'm not a network expert either, but sinse you talk to them tomorrow, I'll give you a few ideas. First look at the network properties and make sure it's a 100 mb connection. However, I suspect it has to do wil collisions or lost packets. In control panel, admin tools, performance is an option and can be monitored. You can add to the graph it makes items that tell you about the NIC, IP, etc. I'd look at that for the problem. Now, what you do to fix these problems is another story.
