Hi,

I'm looking to merge 2 pdf files - a bill of lading pdf and a pdf containing multiple signatures, both 8.5"x11" although the majority of the signature file is just white space. I'm attempting to do so using amyuni's merge function but this simply places the 2nd file over the 1st, hidng the orininal, as they are both the same size file. Ideally I'd need all the white space of the merged file to be transparent, allowing me to see the text below. is this possible?

Another possibility is to add the signature file in .bmp format to the bill of lading pdf file and move it to the background somehow, but i'm not sure how'd i go about doing that either. Is there documentation/books available on the manipulation of pdf's (or automation of acrobat) thru visual foxpro?

any help would be greatly appreciated.
