I enclosed the codes with Try, Catch block and received error messages after several try.

Coming from a VB field, I overlooked the FoxPro's date format.
I was inserting as #1/20/2005# which is valid for VB world but I needed to change it to {^2005-1-20}.

So it was just a simple SQL issue. But thanks again for your quick response!
