I'm not sure what problems others are experiencing, but I've found that WinFax Pro v10.03 works well with XP.

I have apps in many customer sites where VFP does some unattended faxing operation using the WinFax Pro COM objects. Versions 10.0 through 10.02 had problems, but the SDK for v10.03 seems to be doing well on XP.
