Well the VFP8 view designer can open it, but just not in the GUI mode. It will give you the view in SQL text form. You can make your changes there and save it (do not click the GUI window, but only the close button of the GUI window to save the changes).


However, I eventually found it made more sense (more practical) to have all view definitions into a PRG file, and make the changes up there and run it to update the database.
