Well, because I've been doing this before VFP8 :)

Beside, I find the cursoradapter too complex to use (might be personal thoug), a simple PRG containing the view definitions are simpler to maintain. Also, you can USE a view, with a cursor adapter you have some different strategy.

Anyways, I don't think too much about the CursorAdapter, I've never felt a big need to ue them.
