>As I am trying to find what causes a problem in a VFP Stored Procedure, I commented a line that creates a cursor. The following like uses this cursor. But I get no error message. All works without the line the creates a cursor. How can it be?

Perhaps the cursor was already open from a previous run? If this is so, you will get an error message eventually.
