Hi Chris,

Ok.... lot's of options out there.... what I've done so far is this.

I found an article sometime back showing how to call a Visual Foxpro stored procedure. Basically it uses a quoted string function call passing several parameters. Within the stored procedure (all visual fox code) I can do what I like in terms with variables, files and record locks (rlock()). This seems to work web side. I've even got a pessimistic lock work around working on the web using a separate table.

Is this something I should utilize or go with com / xml components instead ?

thanks,

Don
