As I look back at DevTeach last year, there was content devoted to items in VFP9 other than the new report writer (such as a session on the new SQL features). Overall, I think there's been a great deal of coverage of the new capabilities in VFP9.

I guess in the same way Scully never believed in aliens because her back was always turned when the alien craft rose to the heavens, it's not sufficient for some until it hits the main URL. ;)

I think I have the final solution to all that mess. MS should stop talking about VFP. I mean never mention it again. Even if there are new releases or patches or whatever. No more official place for VFP in MS url pages. That way all of the .Net followers and/or anti-VFP developers would be happy. And for us VFP fanatics we'd only have to search for the right places where to find what we need.

Perhaps Mr. Levy could come here from time to time to tell us in cryptic ways where to find what is of interest to us. He already began to do that. Not too long ago he said that something could come up after VFP9. He could'nt tell if it would be a new version, a service pack...

For some developers it's not enough to see VFP at its lowest. It's still alive and it's so scary. It still represents a valuable alternative to other poor solutions offered by too many developers.
