I'm familiar with the afields() function but I'm bring in the info
from an sdf file whose layout I will receive only at a later date
from an outside source. Thus, by creating this "structable", I'll
easily be able to change the layout by changing fields on this table.

If you missed it, the problem was I has the wrong file format (all
the necessary fields as you noted).
