Kevin,

>>I can think of few complaints more marginal than that one. I guess in the same way Scully never believed in aliens because her back was always turned when the alien craft rose to the heavens etc etc...

There are millions of people in the world who do not share your privileges of awareness, proximity and access. The VFP website may be a crucial resource for the scanty few minutes of internet access that can be secured.

I know that when I was paying 1.5 pounds per minute for internet access from my London hotel earlier this month, if I wanted a list of VFP9 features for a business meeting I'd expect to head for the VFP site rather than browsing through various repositories.

In any case, what do you care if people feel there isn't enough detail on the VFP website? You're a dot-netty with articles to your name and a growing following. It may well be that your fans lap up the above breed of discourse, but I'd like to think that dotnetties maintain a sense of respect and don't go in for gratuitous online slaps. In which case you're hurting your ambition to be an esteemed leader. JMHO.

"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us.
