After the long walk to the engineering building, I found that they have a label printer selected as their default printer!!!! And since my header + footer is maybe 2 inches I got the error. When I set the default printer to a "normal" printer the error was gone.

Have you ever tried to print (or rather preview) a report on a computer that doesn't have any printers installed?
