I set up a Gmail account as a POP/SMTP account in my Outlook 2002. I can receive messages sent to Gmail in my Outlook. But if I try to email from Outlook, using Gmail account, I get the following error:
Task 'Gmail Account - Sending and Receiving' reported error
(0x8004210B) : 'The operation timed out waiting for a response from
the sending (SMTP) server. If you continue to receive this message,
contact your server administrator or Internet service provider
(ISP).'
Is this by design that I can only receive Gmail messages in Outlook?
